Digitizing your signing process yields significant cost savings!

BOOKKEEPERS, an accountant with offices in Aalst and Ghent that primarily caters to creatives, construction companies and liberal professionals, had long struggled with getting various documents back correctly signed. The process was time-consuming, inefficient and often required multiple reminders. Customers had to print, manually sign, scan and return the documents. The manual back and forth not only took a lot of time, but also led to delays and unnecessary paperwork for the customer and BOOKKEEPERS employees. As a result, 50-60% of the documents remained unsigned.
Dieter Coppens, founder and managing partner of BOOKKEEPERS therefore went looking for a tool to automate this process. He looked at several solutions on the market, but finally chose Penneo because of their international presence and link with Silverfin.
The accounting firm has now been working with the signing software for about two years. Shortly after the launch, BOOKKEEPERS already experienced how easy it was to have annual reports signed and what the time savings of automatic archiving meant. Now they are also using the software to sign engagement letters, anti-money laundering documents and other proprietary documents.
Clients of the accounting firm are also enthusiastic. After all, they no longer have to print documents, manually sign them, scan them and send them back. Everything is neatly streamlined into 1 flow, saving them valuable time as well.
